This course describes the prerequisites and knowledge required for performing a corrosion and mechanical damage measurement with a 3D surface scanning device. It addresses the basics of 3D scanning, excavation safety, types of corrosion and mechanical damage, surface preparation, and the abnormal operating conditions (AOCs) that may occur when performing this task.
