Course describes the prerequisites and knowledge required for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using a liquid penetrant. It addresses the federal and industry regulations and standards associated with performing NDT; safety and personal protective equipment (PPE); testing tools and equipment; testing procedures; and the abnormal operating conditions (AOCs) that may occur during liquid penetrant testing.
