Course describes the prerequisites and knowledge required for conducting a mobile gas leakage survey using an optical methane detector (OMD). It addresses federal requirements for inspections, safety risks and hazards associated with performing mobile gas leak surveys, use and calibration of optical methane detection equipment, and the abnormal operating conditions (AOCs) that may occur when performing mobile gas leakage surveys.
