English Skills for Construction Foremen
English Skills for Construction Foremen is an industry-focused English course, provided by our partner, EnGen, built from the Construction Foreman Certification Program to help workers gain the English skills needed to succeed in supervisory roles. If English is a barrier to advancement, this course provides the vocabulary, communication practice, and jobsite language support to help workers confidently complete the English version of the Construction Foreman Certification Program. This course is delivered through EnGen’s learning platform.
Learners will have access to the English course for three months. This purchase also includes three months of access to English Skills for Construction Workers, a variety of construction-focused courses that help non-native English speakers succeed in the workplace by building English skills that support jobsite communication, safety, and opportunities for career advancement.
Construction Foreman Certification Program
The Construction Foreman Certification Program is a comprehensive, turnkey solution tailored for both current and aspiring foremen.
This engaging online program offers valuable knowledge and practical tools that participants can immediately apply on the job site. Learners will master effective communication with crews, leading them efficiently, productively, and safely. This equips frontline supervisors with the essential skills needed to tackle any job site challenge.
This online program provides expert insight to learners, whether they are current foremen looking to hone their skills or craft professionals seeking advancement. The program can be taken as a fully online, self-paced program or incorporated into a facilitated program led by your organization.
The program includes an Introduction to Get Started, all five courses, the assessment, and one retake.
Course & Assessment Enrollment:

An EnGen representative will contact you to onboard you or your learner(s) to the EnGen platform for the English Skills for Construction Foremen portion.
Construction Foreman Certification Program
Course and assessment enrollment occurs automatically upon payment at checkout. Enrollment utilizes the email address provided. To access courses and assessments after purchase, log in to (or create) an NCCER Account using the email address provided during checkout, then click “Learning Platform.”
If you purchase two or more courses or programs, you will have that many courses or programs to assign to yourself or others.
To assign courses or programs after purchase:
- Log in to (or create) an NCCER Account using the email address from checkout.
- Click “Learning Platform.”
- Select “Bulk Purchases” in the top menu bar to view your available courses or programs to assign.
- Assign courses or programs to learners by entering their NCCER Number.
Learners can then access these courses and the assessment by logging into their NCCER account and clicking the “Learning Platform” tile.
The courses and assessment included in this program are NONREFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERABLE.
