Course describes the prerequisites and knowledge required for assembling and joining plastic pipe by using a hydraulic butt heat fusion machine. This course covers the proper way to operate a hydraulic butt heat fusion machine and the abnormal operating conditions (AOCs) that may occur when performing this task. This course also discusses how to properly inspect completed joints for a quality bond.
